FAQ

Questions buyers ask before ordering

Are you the manufacturer?

No. Cocoqube is a Bengaluru-based exporter and wholesale sourcing partner. We work with manufacturing partners and coordinate specification, samples, agreed checks, packing and delivery, so you deal with one accountable contact. We never describe a partner factory as our own.

What is the minimum order?

Trial, standard-carton and custom-production minimums are different. We confirm the applicable minimum in writing with your quote, based on the SKUs you need.

Do you offer samples?

Yes, as paid sample kits. Eligible sample product value can be credited against your first qualifying order. See the samples page for the terms.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes. We quote on a named Incoterm with a defined handover point and coordinate export documents. The importer confirms destination classification and import conditions with the relevant authority or broker.

Do you offer private label?

Yes, on a few approved SKUs to start. Artwork, setup costs and production minimums are confirmed in writing first.

What is the lead time?

Lead time depends on the SKU, whether it is stocked and any customisation. We confirm the basis of the lead time with your quote and never assume catalogue availability.

Which certifications do you hold?

We do not make certification claims on this site. Where a buyer needs a standard or test, we agree the standard, laboratory, method and scope before committing.

Which Incoterm do you prefer?

For early containerised or LCL offers we prefer FCA at an explicitly named handover point, stated as Incoterms 2020. We can quote carriage separately. We avoid an initial DDP promise without destination tax and import capability.

What payment terms apply to a first export order?

Samples and small pilots are normally 100 percent advance. Larger custom orders need an advance covering committed costs, with the balance before cargo or document release, or a bank-reviewed irrevocable letter of credit. We do not offer open-account terms to unverified new buyers.

Who confirms import requirements?

The importer, with its broker or the relevant authority, confirms classification, tariffs and plant-health or product rules for the destination. We supply the specification, composition and documents you ask for.

Can you supply filled hydroponic grow slabs?

Not as a standard listing. A filled slab with bag, holes and drip layout needs a separate technical qualification. Describe your requirement and we will confirm feasibility before quoting.

Is coco peat the same as cocopeat?

Yes. Coco peat, cocopeat, coir pith and coco coir pith are names for the fine fraction made from coconut husk. What matters is the specification: grade, EC with units and test method, particle structure and pack.

Can coco peat replace peat moss?

Many growers use coco peat as a peat-free medium, but the grade matters because soluble salts and feed needs differ. Run a small trial and involve your agronomist. See the guide on coco peat versus peat moss.

Do you sell bulk coco peat?

We quote 5 kg blocks per pallet or tonne. Compare quotes by expanded litre, grade and pack plan, and start with a paid sample and a pallet pilot.

Do you supply Bangalore, Hyderabad and the rest of South India?

We are based in Bengaluru (Bangalore) and quote for buyers in Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. Delivery scope, timing and carrier are confirmed per quote.

Which export markets are you starting with?

We are starting with the UK and the UAE, with a smaller track for the Netherlands. The importer or broker confirms import conditions for the product and use.

What is the difference between mulch discs and mulch mats?

The same flat coir product is searched under both names. We list discs by diameter and thickness, and confirm the measured size per order.

Are your products fully biodegradable?

We declare the full composition of each product, including binders, nets, cores and metal parts, and do not make a blanket biodegradability claim for composites.
